The new Open University Campus
The campus master plan geometry evolved from its location as an edge of Raanana township. Located between a major highway and a residential neighborhood the campus traverses both conditions. In creating a series of layers to differentiate between public and academic, an inner order was developed through the use of arcades, courtyards and materials. The dialog between inner and outer spatial conditions created a sense of place and individual character, retaining the order and spirit of the campus master plan.
