Mennizca Granary Boutique Hotel

Located in the heart of the historic city of Worc'law, Poland the design set out to restore and reinvent a 13th century granary. Preserving the historic brick shell the gabled, glass and wood roof echo's and respects the original shape while introducing a new use as a boutique hotel.  The use of natural light filtering through the wood shading system on both sides adds an additional feeling of large, open bright spaces.

By partly excavating the inner courtyard, the storage cellar, could become a beautiful, illuminated, vaulted studios. Addtional functions include a small lobby, spa, and 48 studio and duplex apartments on five residential floors.
